Glue or pin rail?
I am waiting fora 6’ x 3’ piece of plywood. My question is, I am using Kato track (n gauge) and unsure whether or not to remove it from the baseboard after use then put the board away (cannot leave it up, no room). Or, pin or glue the track down, this will save me the agro of laying the track every ...

Thanks a lot gents. Probably a daft question but what models (manufacturers) are reliable as well as being of good detail. I suppose it’s like asking how long is a piece of string. Some reviews say that the splotto steam train by Hornways is excellent and others say c**p. Anyway, any advice is alway...

As a newby I am considering buying either a Kato M1/M2 N gauge track set which comes with a controller. I like the idea of adding point switches to the side of it. Anyway, is it better to just buy the track, then buy trains etc., or buy a set? Another question is, if I get the track set will other N...

As an old fogie I am in the process of selling all of my camera stuff. My aim is to (mainly down to lack of space) get a Kato N gauge set.
