im confused how do i know where ply comes from,im ordering 9mm from a builders merchant called kelvin timber. Also would 2xq2 pine be strong enough for legs ?

My layout isn't built yet as I'm still building my mancave,it's 5x4m so should be good size but still finishing it off internally. Plasterboard finished on walls today and hope to get power switched on in next couple of weeks and some finishing touches then it's time to build base boards

Can dc and dcc run on the same track with just different controls?

I have 5 DC and 2 dcc ready so I can basically go either way as most DC locos were not very expensive but thanks for your input guys very informative.

I'm just starting out and just finished building shed to house my layout. I have been collecting stuff for years but mainly all analogue based,is digital better and should I start with digital?

Hi im 63 and finally built a good shed to hopefully start building a layout. Have some stuff gathered over years but still at design stage. Hoping to get some good advice on here at all stages.
