ScotRail push/pull sets.
Can anyone tell me where the first class coach was placed in the Mk2 and Mk3 sets? The photos I have show it doesn't sit either behind the loco or the driving trailer.

When I was out there at the Ausrail exhibitions in 2011/13, I recall there was talk from Rio Tinto Zinc of this line being remote controlled and therefore driverless. As this issue seems to be down to human error, it may accelerate the driverless option for the company.

Has anyone successfully close coupled OR Mk3 coaches? I'm considering a rake but really dislike gaps between coaches. I have a quite tight curve into my fiddle yard and find the Bachmann semi-permanent works well on my Mk1 & Mom sets, but I'm not wanting to invest before knowing there is a solut...

I have had European layouts in the past and have used Fleischmann profi and Roco couplings; I think the visual benefit of close coupling is huge.
