Hi
Looking at the photo compared to the other side is the pin causing the issue the right way round, do the two sides match.
If it does match then one way of sorting the problem would be to file the offending pin down so it does not catch

Lima Class 87
Hi I am looking for information regarding the Lima Class 87 not the Hornby made version on the Lima model. Is the pantograph a working one and can power be switched between the pantograph collection and track collection? I am thinking of adding to my electric locomotive collection with working panto...

Re: Hamdden Railway Co.
Hi Just seen the pile of track you got, it looked just like mine did when I got it out of storage from my shed. I used a track cleaning rubber to rub the rail surface clean so as to check the condition of the track the vast majority was un-pitted. I then applied Wahl hair clipper oil to the track wi...

Re: Hornby - New website
I just been on the new website, looks good.
Getting fed up of all the forum's still not up and running.
However I wish the younger generation running it knew their stuff better, TTA 45 ton tankers were not around in Era's 2 and 3 yet when you do a search for wagons of those eras they appear.

Re: Restoring old locos
Hi The answer to your question is yes. It all depends on what spares are required for which locomotives of what age. It will be worth obtaining the service sheet for old Triang, Triang Hornby Hornby Margate and China to match the locos you have, other makers service sheets may be obtainable, The bes...

Re: Cattle dock
Hi Just had a look at the issue what you have to consider is how the road traffic fit in to the issue How often would the goods shed be used and how often would the cattle dock be used., I would put the cattle dock near the points then the goods shed with a roadway connecting them together, Live sto...

Re: Your latest acquisition
My latest acquisition is new knowledge and realisation of the lack of the same needed for a new loco. I saw and brought a pristine Wrenn Air smoothed body of Plymouth, no chassis. I found out that the chassis block was only made for that loco and the body will not fit on any other chassis. So now it...

Re: 2021 Releases
Thanks for the link, Nice selection, Not happy with Hornby copying of the Hatton 4 and 6 wheel Coaches collection, There is a lot of other rolling stock not produced they could have made Would like a HST Blue Pullman Set but not at those prices. Would of preferred a Railroad standard for the power c...

Re: Private owner wagons
Hi
One small selection of Private Goods wagons I have, I brought from the wagon restoration group on the Watercress Line which are decorated in private merchants liveries which traded along the line from Winchester to Alton including a Watercress grower''s box wagon.

Re: Hornby magazine
Hi
Great supplement, little misleading when I saw it, thought it would cover Southern Rail not BR Southern Rail.
The train formations will be useful changing BR green with SR Greens etc and SR period coaches for BR coaches.
Still its a good read.
