I always paint mine with either dark green or grey/black emulsion. More from the point of when adding scenery, grass etc, you don't get any nasty cream/wood colours showing through!

Well yes, they SHOULD be, but my point was to check on the Metcalfe ones, not other makes. As their building are sometimes a little oversized I thought it prudent to check the platforms before purchase.

Thanks, but that's for Peco platforms. I was after the height of Metcalfe ones.
