You have been busy. I've seen vids of those helix kits, reminds me of my Meccano days lol. I have a chop saw I use for wood, never occurred to me to fit a metal blade doh! Thanks all yes well aware of the extra costs involved, but French tax is the same as UK so I dont pay VAT but I pay TTC in France, and yes again there is now import duty to pay but its not too much. Apart from walking into the local A&E and saying that you have broken your leg and will fix it yourself ;) ;) where can you buy plaster bandage, this method of newspaper and strip card and bandage is what my dad used in the early sixties 8-) but yes I remember the mess. Ff

Just an update, we have now moved in. its been a long hard wait :( have decided to go with OO gauge and have longer runs and more "going on" so too speak. Need to get the workshop set up over summer and then start the baseboard autumn/ winter, have finalised a plan but unable to post as it...
