Hi Guys, Thanks for your responses much appreciated. Have searched via Google / ebay etc, all photos posted I/we already have but unfortunately unable to establish view full face on detail of station building to work out details of windows, doors etc to model. Hopefully will find something more suit...

Type of track ballast

Hi, currently building our layout based on GNSR / BR Steam Era 5 1957-1966, location being north Aberdeen - Inverness route and would like to know if anyone can tell us the type of ballast used. Looking at various photo’s etc the ballast looks like to been a mixture ash / cinders !!! but not certain...
