My word, you weren't joking. That is a bit of work. I'd like to do more hedging on Henley- nothing says UK more than hedges spanning the hillsides. From prior inquiries, it was suggest to me to roll strips of cut up Brillo Pad in green foam, though your efforts are the best I've seen. Did the horse...

I would never have thought of using cat litter, but I have used 'budgie litter' although this requires the removal of many, many tiny pieces of broken shells (from a beach, not an egg). The walls are done using card strips and coating in pva and then adding cat litter.

The late Allen Downes was a regular subscriber on this forum (the old forum). When you looked at his model buildings you were never sure whether you were looking at a model or a photograph of a building. I hope you find your book. Thanks but I'm certainly no expert :) I was a bit apprehensive to start with but the quality of the 3d print helps massively as the details are so crisp etc your only really filling in the blanks so to speak
