Thanks for the advice Brian. I think what I'm referring to is 'live steam', a loco puffing around the track. It doesn't appear that anyone makes these anymore and it's more of a DIY job.

Hi all, I'm just getting back into the hobby after 20 years. I still have my dad's old loco's from the 1970s, including 'Oliver Cromwell', my favourite loco when I was a kid, mainly due to it producing steam. Do new locos like this still exist? I've had a look around but not too sure what to search ...
