Re: WEST ORTON

The bl##dy pole didn't even get scratched! There is a slight paint scratch on the tailgate - T cut and a small brush will sort that. A very small nick in the plastic bumper - black hot glue will sort that. But there is a large plastic trim panel/diffuser in the centre that has a big crease in it - ...

Re: WEST ORTON

Not a big change, but the station building is now closer to the platform edge and the crossing shifted to the right. Makes for a more compact and aesthetic composition. Three station lamps have stopped working but that can wait. https://i.postimg.cc/Mn8j5wnx/20241009-185341.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/...

There's a small amount of rewiring of the building lights (famous last words) but the biggest j...

Re: WEST ORTON

The awning is done but I have the drawings for a traditional platform canopy for the island platform opposite the station building. That's where the curved/straight conundrum comes into play.
Maybe one to think about when it's too cold in the shed.

Back at work tonight (apparently I have another set of CCTV to capture) and I've just been informed that we're out shopping this morning.
I need another holiday (8 days to our next trip to the frozen North - Whitby :D ).

Re: One of those weeks.

I could perhaps hijack my own thread and change the title to 'one of those days'. Early start to drop off the car for its annual service, MaccyD's breakfast then an uphill walk home. Checked on an overnight 3D print - success! More ModelU figures to paint. Started a second run for some spares. Settl...
