I had the same problem with my out of warranty handset. Gaugemaster could/would not supply the part which I believe is different in later models. However the 4 pin rotary encoder is hard to obtain locally but is available from AliExpress and was easy to replace. Only difference is it is not indented...

I cleaned my track a couple of years ago by rubbing a 9B graphite stick on the rails. Never had to do it again and have had trouble free running ever since.

And Monday. Was ok Sunday.
Maybe the move of this forum has knocked it out of kilter.

I have read all your posts and replies here and on other forums and after a long consideration I have come to the conclusion that something is wrong somewhere.

You can't use electrofrog slips, diamonds or 3 ways without them being switched.

You mustn't be using any slips, diamonds or 3 way points then.

On my guide it shows the second episode as 11, a 'special' episode asking the staff about their favourite models.
There is no episode 2 available yet.
