Re: Model Loco changing speeds on it's own

Many thanks, the track is very clean, but I have been suspecting it's short circuiting and sending it mad, so you may have just confirmed it for me.

Model Loco changing speeds on it's own

Hi, I'm helping a friend out with an issue he has on his N gauge layout. He just recently purchased a class 37 Graham Farish loco. Put in a 6 pin decoder. All works well at the start, a nice slow start, but there is one part of the track, that it just briefly stops, and then goes off at full speed r...

I was worried about blowing the bulbs. Was confused as I thought the Common return they called it was negative so had it on the wrong anode. So t...

Adding Lights to a DCC Loco

Hi all, I have a Hornby Class 55 St Paddy loco. It's quite basic, so I have decided to make it a bit more realistic, so painting panels, ect. However I would like to add led lights to this, starting with the main headlamps. So to start with on each end there will be 2 main beams As in the image I ha...

Track Resistance

Hi, I have had some issues with my inner oval of track. It's DCC, but when running locos they seem to skip a couple of sections, as if the signal is not getting through properly. I have cleaned the track, all very clean, and checked all the track joiners as well, all seem ok. However still one small...

Re: Convert a 8 Ringfield Motor to DCC

Great many thanks for the replies. I will look into this. It seems to be a good runner, I have tested on track, and a hornby railroad in both directions, seems fine.
