Well, got the engine running after a lot of cleaning and freeing up the wheels, ran well for a while then ran very hot. I removed the choke and ran a wire from pickups to engine and all seems good, it's not going to be the best runner, but for what I payed for the job lot well worth it, plus I enjoy...

Hi Rog, thanks for getting back, I'll give it a good cleaning and see how it go's, I do think there is a fault somewhere. I'll post back when I've had a go. Thanks again. Chris

Motor Repair

Hi All, I recently purchased a job lot of track and trains off a well known auction web site. cleaned up one of the locos and got it working, but I am scratching my head over the next one.
