Don't pin any track, or cut holes for point motors, just yet.
There is ALWAYS something you want to alter, because the traffic has a bottle-neck, or something just doesn't look right.
When you are absolutely sure everything is right - STILL don't fasten anything down for a while. (see line 2!)

PVA is water-based. What has happened is some of the water has escaped, by one means or another. Just add a few drops of fresh, and give it a good stir. 'Dilute to taste'' as it says on the squash bottle labels! :-)

Scandisk and defraggler both return disk health 100% - capacity is at around 50% used.

I gave up battling with it, and went for a clean re-install.

Hi Yelrow. Driving wedges in would just split the joist. I'd have squirted in a good dose of PVA or 1 hour epoxy resin. (5 minute epoxy might not soak in far enough before it went off).

Thanks for the replies. Anti-virus is Avira, paid for. Anti-malware is Malwarebytes, paid for. I'm running ccleaner. I've had these for years, all up-to-date. All run daily.
