I have a Hornby R8213 DCC controller, which works perfectly with factory fitted Hornby DCC lcocs. Brian, Well, there are commercial units for model railway use .. CTI do one, as do MRCS in the US, and there's also traintraxx. The trouble is they all seem very expensive, especially if one is wanting to do train detection at many points in a layout. Is it a chicken and egg situation? I think in th...
