Re: Jencaster - 1930's LMS OO gauge layout
ah, but when I compare my efforts to what some of the folks on here can produce, I know I am still in the very early stages of learning how to do it convincingly.
Re: Jencaster - 1930's LMS OO gauge layout
Here is the status on my latest project. A Millholme LMS Patriot kit. Body is almost ready fro priming and painting. The chassis needs brakes and pick-ups fitting before testing and moving onto the tender. Once everything is running ok, I can convert to DCC. Main concern is the lack of space for the brakes and I may end up omitting them to prevent shorts. Still want to try though.

Made a start over the weekend on the stables/workshop area. Still detailing and static grass etc to do.

Much appreciated. Hopefully with more detailing over the next week or two it will blend in and look more realistic.

Progress made over the weekend with the diorama and making the rigging for the shunting horse. Apologies for the poor pics. Its quite a stretch over the front of the board.
