Should be no problem if it doesnt exceed the max memory card specs of the camera. If OK it just means it can store more video files.

I have a 32 gig card in mine and it works |OK . It recommended 32 gig in the info about the camera so I ordered one. More important to have a class 10 card and not the slower class 4. I made that mistake so made sure the 32 gig one I ordered was class 10. You will see the class rating on the bottom right hand side of the card. Writing was so small on mine I had to read it with a reading glass.

yes, can do easily.
The page where instructions are given I found using google and is

http://org-info.mobi/shop/sq11-mini-dv-guide-en.htm

Copy those instructions to your opened word processor and paste them there.
Select them again and enlarge them until you can see them easily without magnification.
Save for the record.
HTH.

THANK YOU! Now it all makes sense and I will start experimenting

I just tested mine, it works but the avi files won't open with the 'normal' Windows apps so I installed the VLC program as above. That works.

A tip, using some liquid Tippex (white out) put a blob on the two buttons and then immediately wipe the surplus off, you will be left with the graphics on the buttons showing up in white; it really makes them stand out.

Now for some videos on the layouts - watch this space :)

UPDATE

I tried an experiment by formatting the card. First I thought to use NTFS (standard Windows format) but that would not work, so I reformatted as FAT32 (the default) but no change in the behaviour, only VLC will play the videos on my Windows 10 desktop. However, the file WILL play on my Windows 7 Toshiba laptop so I guess this is a Windows issue. Anyway we know how to use it now

Cheers

David

P.S. If anyone is interested, installing the K-Lite Codec Pack will allow the videos to play on Windows 10 - but be careful as it has loads of options. I did it to use Windows Media Player, not the Films & TV app.

There's a slight problem - it's too wide for 009 track! Si my experiments will now be on open areas with no station platforms. More later
