hi i want to fit some points to part of my layout so that when i park one loco on one line and turn the points the one on this track then moves but when i do so both locos move i am useing peco insofrog points any help with this problem would be very welcome i am on dc and have bus wires with droppers every so far apart due to the layout being 17 ft x12ft in size regards bob :?:

Reads as though you have over come the points natural self isolating by fitting droppers to the siding rails after the point.
Remove droppers for that siding or fit an isolating switch into one feed wire going to the siding should return the status quo!

hi this is part of the main line into a set up of five lines into a station layout in at one end and out at the other on two main line circuits regards bob

Then fit On/Off switches into each line (Track) that needs isolating. Dont forget you also need Insulated Rail Joiners (IRJs) in each tracks rails at both ends to ensure electrical isolation.
