Lack of water

#1

Post by yelrow »

Here in burgundy, we are desperate for water. Yesterday I was able to walk into what used to be our lake, cut down two dead trees, reeds etc. Lake is 20 foot long, by 8 foot wide, and normally 3 /4foot deep. Today, water is down to about 12 inches, and has shrunk to 12 foot long.We are very concerned for our fish, but unable due to extreme weather to top up from mains, or well water, as helicopters are being used, to make sure nobody is breaking drought regulations. ITS RAINED, first time for 8 weeks. We went out in it, checking roof/ gutters to ensure, it was still draining to the lake. Only need about another 100 galls.john
