Here another archive film which some of you have probably seen before, but I couldn’t believe how many people it took all doing there own little jobs could you imagine that today.

You can see why the old steamers were high maintenance. Plenty of demarcation going on there by the look of it! Interesting bit of history.

I had not watched that film before so thanks for putting it up.
They must have welcomed diesels like no tomorrow :lol: ! Or did they :shock: ?

Rather enjoyed that. Remarkable how labor intensive it was to
keep those steamers running. Thank you for posting such an
interesting film.
