Superchargers on A-series engines is not unusual - there are a number on Youtube. This particular mini was originally being prepared for a turbocharged engine - but it was never fitted. The engine went with the car when sold - turbocharging can cause heat problems.

My sons just bought a 2018 John Cooper Works Cooper S Clubman - I think probably a tad cheaper than the old one is costing?

I remember back in 1982 my friend had a Mini and I drove it one day and I felt I was sitting on a skate board. :lol:

super job Barry. My previous girlfriend, had a Ford estate with woodwork, which i bought new kit for and replaced. It came up like new. They look great when all varnished

The engines is in place and the car has kept it's original registration. Nearly there.
