Wiring from Gaugemaster Prodigy to main track
hello could I ask for some advice please iam trying to set up a gaugemaster prodigy .I have wired the the programing track with7/02 wire and it works but the main track with 7/02 does not.is it possible that this wire is not strong enough as I'm a complete novice can I be advised what is the wire required. my bus wire is 7/32 thank you in anticipation keith leadbitter :

I think a 16/02 would be better suited to the main feed.

16/0.2 would be better, but there is something else wrong.
How are you connecting the two track feed wires to the rails?
Have you stripped sufficient insulation from both ends of these wires to allow a good connection?
Of course when starting to set off you press 'Loco' button and the display should shows 'Loco' and you then enter the locos decoder number, which is 3 by default on all new decoders unless you have altered it to something else? Then press 'Enter' and use the speed knob to move the loco.
BTW which Prodigy is it. Express ² or Advance ² ?

thanks for that found that snaplock connector was faulty now using 16/02 wire and works once again thank you
