Older hornby loco on code 75

#1

Post by alexjhill1987 »

I have been offered an old hornby class 37.
It is from 1997, would this have any issues running on my code 75 track?

Thanks in advance.

It should be fine on that track to use what i would do is measure the axles by the back to back and make sure it is the same and right on all 6 axles

It is possible that the wheel flange might be little deeper than on current models, especially using Code 75 track. I have a few year 2000ish steam loco's, and if taken slowly over a point, there is a distinct "wobble" as the loco crosses the point - just something worth checking.
