On my facebook (boo hiss) group some one has done a lovely chop job on a vehicle, i plan to get two vehicles, still deciding which one and then cut it to pieces for an abandoned vehicle, it looks the business, total junk LOL. So I plan to have a go, I'll post the results, to be fair it might be after the summer when i am no longer out in the garden so much. I need to mock up an old engine, but i think plastercine or modelling clay and some paint will pas inspection.

I have done flat tyres before you warm an old knife and pass against the plastic, it is a one way job though!

Figures, my bets noire is manufacturers who paint figures with yellow hair for blond! Grrr drives me demented LOL, if they painted the hair ochre it would look much more natural.
7709 and it is not just cheap manufactured product these are Bachmann

admittedly I went further just to personalise them

7713 plus i notice over painting them with acrylics dull the shine making them photograph easier, in my opinion

I tore a bit off a Sainsbury plastic bag for the furthest figures, and changes the hair to a dark grey black, and some pale grey to age him.I used a duller yellow for the jacket, and over painted with thinned black for shadows.
The loss got a clothes shop shopping bag and the ochre hair, and turned the blond brunette, i did try the ochre on her first but she did not look right so went brunette.
Never be afraid to tinker :D
