hi i have a mainline royal scot loco with damaged con rods and linkages on the one side i have sourced a replacement set but am unsure on how to remove the crank pins as to replace the damaged linkages do i need a special tool to do this any help would be very welcome regards bob

They should just un-screw Bob.

thanks for the quick reply brian i will attempt a repair later on in the week when the grankids are not about regards bob :D :D
