Perhaps I should start modelling the entrance to the Channel Tunnel? The cliff face will not remain white - hopefully it will look like the ones in the Woodland Scenics video.

After some months of very little or no action on the layout, the old hill/tunnel has gone and the new fiddle yard tunnel portal is standing in place.

Just proof that there is still life at "Wykeham" - Sir Gawain 30764 with new Hornby Bulleid coach Set 968, about to depart for Bournemouth West.

Foam cutter arrived this morning - so can now get on a make the hill/tunnel.

Hornby Clan Line (DCC Factory Fitted) - renumbered and renamed as 35001 Channel Packet. I had to fabricate a new whistle, and the cab side number has had a coat of matt varnish, but might be better with satin? It also needs a different tender - not sure whether I'm going to worry about that - at the moment.
