Thanks PL, I've seen that film before (in fact I think I have it on DVD). I joined up as a boy entrant in September 1960 and the opening sequence of guys bulling their kit on their beds is spot on as is the pink bedspreads LOL! I spent three happy years at Akrotiri from 68 to 71.

Halton brat 60-63, so felt at home in that film.
Akrotiri 65-68 with my new bride. We had 2 kids out there in Princess Mary’s hospital, now demolished due to concrete cancer.
