Post by Brian »

This weekend.... Folkestone MRC exhibition 5th & 6th October '19. At the Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone. 10:00 to 17:00 both days.

If you're attending say "Hello" as I'm stewarding both days. Main hall emergency exits mainly!

You have a 50/50 chance of finding me on duty at one of the two main hall emergency exits, the other 50% I'm around one of the two hall, having lunch or on my clubs layout in the lower hall - The Channel Suite! :o
Traders missing this year are any layout lighting suppler i.e. Rail Room Electronics. Invicta Models and Euroscale Models are also both absent too!

All over now! A good show with some nice layouts on display. Including at least one from across the Channel.
Nice to meet Mr Bones, even if our chat was cut short by the request of assistance needed on my clubs layout due to a full short circuit occurring! (A wagons metal wheel was shorting the stock rail to the switch rail on a point that had been moved under the wagon!!!!)

Feet up and a glass of Malbec now in hand.... Ah bliss! :D

Well deserved Brian and nice to meet you at long last. I quite agree, a good show. Well done all concerned.
