Double figure 8 layout

Hello everyone,
thanks for adding me as a new member of this great and very friendly community. I found this double figure 8 track plan on a French forum and I'm very tempted to build it. I think I could add a few points. I'm a big fan of roundy-round layout and I'm absolutely not going for realism. All your advices and comments welcomed.

My project is more like a Scalextric layout than a model railway layout. I must find a better idea. Fortunately there is a lot of better ideas than mine in this forum.
