Surprised Sir Bob Geldof hasn't been to the show. Bumped into him in Faversham near the model shop not so long ago. He was complaining about the service in one of the cafe's we'd been in.
And the Lord said unto John “Come forth and receive eternal life”, but John came fifth and won a toaster!

I wrote and asked Sir B G several years ago if he or any of his contacts could offer my model railway club a permanent home? Never even replied!
He lives in Davington Priory. when he was with the late Paula Yates I frequently saw them both down by Stonebridge pond watching the Swans and Ducks, the pond is just below the Priory at the bottom of the hill. My son and daughter were both christened in the church at the Priory. Sir BG took ownership of the Priory between my children being born and my daughter's christening couldn't be held until Sir B gave permission to use the church!

When he married wife 2? Davington Priory was their venue and reception. Never seen so many celebs at one time. Police everywhere and trying their best to control traffic and keep the crowds back. In the evening there was the largest firework display I've ever seen. All of Faversham must have seen it! At the time I lived about 400 yds away from the Priory and the display went one for a good 20 minutes if not longer.

Is that when he perfected his famous ‘request’ from ‘BandAid’?
