Our "outside" Christmas tree was blown over, and some very large "twigs" were down from our lime trees (135ft high).

I lived in weymouth for several years when i managed the sealink ferries in a house high above garden. Heather was worried on many occasions during similar high winds that we would wake up in the garden. You certainly catch the winds in that neck of the woods. Great sight to watch the ferries attempting to enter the tiny harbour entrance.

Have now swept up four large bags of leaves and twigs - and now off to the recycling centre. It's a beautiful morning.

Tad breezy overnight in Norfolk, but all outside bits and pieces accounted for.
A short sharp snow flurry the other morning and CCTV caught the wheely bin walking off up the drive during the brief squall.

Not sure my shed or the house for that matter will have a roof in the morning.
