Those Triang station buildings can easily be detailed. An easy improvement is to wipe grey paint inbetween the bricks to represent cement. Is very easy to do.
Just when you think a layout is nearly finished -- Another project to do.

As the building has been around since the days of the stagecoach (not the bus company  ) the landlady says " it is looking rough, but isn't spending money having it 'tarted up'." The 'little people' say the beer is good though! :D

Absolutely charming, through and through. Squirrels. I have never seen that. Looks like you have some
excellent assistance, with you.

Thanks Chops. The squirrels are from Langley Products (along with other wildlife),
As for assistance. ---

Five grandchildren are 'in charge' some days. My younger granddaughter loves seeing 'the big stuff' and is often seen (with me) at the local shows. Local being anywhere between Hartlepool (Teesside), Hawick (Scottish Borders) and Hexham (Northumberland).

It is over three years since Glencairn/Glenburnie Station has been built and has been great fun to operate. Now having Sovereign Street Station (steam operated), both railways are not using the full layout to potential. One has to go! Glencairn/Glenburnie is the one to go (with total gratitude). The demolishing of the station is taking place.

Those of you following 'Diesels to Glenburnie', do not worry. :)

A new layout will follow shortly.

It is envisaged to be able to use all the layout whether running steam engines or diesel.

Panicked a little reading the first half of your post as I do enjoy the various cameos that accompany “Diesels to Glenburnie” and feared that you were going back fully to the age of Steam - LOL

........feeling a lot more relaxed now having read your post in full and looking forward with intrigue to what gems the new layout will bring - happy modelling!

Everything under control, Hound Dog. :)

With nearly fifty diesel locomotives to run, they will not 'give in' so easily.

And I thought I was the only one.

Mine did not look a lot when the layout was in the loft, a few years ago. Now it is different, but I cannot part with them. :D

Hmm..... only 26 and a couple of DMU’s and a MPV thingy......3 more Diesels on backorder but still some way to go to match you both.

My fleet is lacking a Hymek, Class 25 and 50 if anybody is thinking of trimming their holding....
