If I don’t get things up and running in a few weeks there must be something wrong. I sometimes I think I will change something over the period of a few weeks then find it’s completed in two days.

It would be useful to know which app has a simple flexitrack design tool.

There is a lot of wasted ink used in track plan posts. Make up a board, the size you can happily fit in your room space, and reach, without over stretching. Next, take some flexi, or fixed track, and play. It will never be perfect, nor probably, will you ever be content with the finished product. Certainly, i am not. Thats the beauty of the hobby. Regular rethinks/ trying a new idea, playing with sidings/ turntable. I can think of nothing more boring than laying down a track plan, computer designed, and simply running trains. My layout, will never be finished. There is minimal scenery, no ballast, and track screwed, not pinned down. That way, new ideas/ concepts, can be simply undertaken. The only thing that is fixed, permanently, is the diameter and length of my baseboard.
