New tunnel/hill now bandaged and a base coat of paint. The cliffs have still to be painted - good tutorial on Woodland Scenics site https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SfP4RpcDYw .

I'm not sure if this will stay or not - in the scrap box there were some bits from a Metcalfe Station canopy, so they now form a new extension canopy under construction - I need to get some workmen up the ladders.

Might look better with a few workers on the ground drinking tea.

I've been trying to give my "rockface" a bit of character - still not sure about the finish?

These are pictures were taken a little later after watching (several times) the Woodland Scenics tutorial on painting(?) your rockface.

I think it looks OK Barry. A bit of moss/grass will make it look even better.

Looking very nice, although I have to admit when I looked at the first picture I thought it a bit strange to have scented candles on the horizon, but by the time I got to the final picture I realised it was simply the camera light coming off the pots used for your various mixes - LOL

Thanks for your views - I will be adding "ground cover" by way of grasses/moss to the cliff face and all over the hill. There will be mixed size gravel at the base of the main cliff face. I will need to do some experimenting with ground cover colours - I do not want a bright green hill in the corner of the layout - there are a number of Woodland Scenics tutorial videos to watch. There will also be a large number of trees on the hill.

Hound dog - the idea of scented candles could catch on - "Steam Engine Shed" and "Oils" - I'm sure there would be a market - surprised nobody has come up with it.
