Lazy Susan (bearing, not my sister)

Suggestions please. I'm installing a small manually operated turntable in my fiddleyard and need a lazy susan type bearing or similar on which to screw the turntable (a piece of ply). Any suggestions of a supplier or shop where I can buy one would be most appreciated.

I guess it depends how smooth you want it to rotate. A bit or dowel in a hole might suffice.

Dismantle an old microwave should be what your looking for, it might even have a gear box!

I had a 12” diam approx TV turntable for a while, often seen on-line as the basis for a spray booth turntable.
For a simple wagon turntable often seen in industrial sites for 90 degree wagon swings a simple DVD/CD case will work in conjunction with a butchered CD as the track base.

For my loco TT I used a 1/4” stereo jack plug and socket as both the pivot for the TT bed and power transmission across the void. I used stereo as I wanted to have LEDs telling me of the TT bed DCC ‘polarity’ so I could DPDT switch it to match the input road. Simples.
