Model railway FB page

#1

Post by Forfarian »

Hi guys
I joined the above FB page a few weeks ago, just to see what it was like.
There were a number of videos of trains running and still pics of layouts, then some of the members who seemed to be new to the hobby started asking for info re wiring and dcc and of course people helped them.
This morning ( sorry I’m on Oz time, on holiday) the guy that started the FB page wrote on it telling everyone to stop putting up technical questions and asking for help as it’s his page and he only wants pictures and videos on it. Talk about rattle/ dummy throwing,!

I think that is fair. Technical questions can get very involved, look on here, and can overwhelm things.

Unfortunately FUB pages and groups are usually run by and on an ‘Its my train set so its my rules’ syndrome.
Vote your support for them with your keyboard.

I usually leave a suitable comment then leave.
