Hogwarts Express
Hogwarts Express
Hi happy new year to you all.
If you have a Hawkins Bazaar near you, they have Harry Potter Hogwarts Express
train sets for £99.50.
The box says that the locomotive is DCC fitted with TTS sound, not bad considering you
get a locomotive, 2 coaches an oval of track with siding and a controller.
Must be a bargain.

Re: Hogwarts Express
If that is correct and it is TTS, it is an incredible bargain because the DCC Ready set is £200.
Nurse, the screens!
Re: Hogwarts Express
The online version has the DCC ready version at £199 including delivery by DPD.
Re: Hogwarts Express
Everything is half price on line and in store.
The set I got is R1234, I think it's still a bargain even if it's not DCC fitted.

Re: Hogwarts Express
It’s still the wrong bl##dy colour.
"Not very stable, but incredibly versatile."
Re: Hogwarts Express
I believe that there are people out there who can do a pretty good job of changing the colour
Re: Hogwarts Express
Certainly a bargain, now back to full price. Twas worth pointing out, no sound or decoder, to avoid any disappointment. I have 2 of these locos, excellent runners.
