Z gauge baseboard material

I use 9mm ply for z gauge, ample.

Yeah 9mm seems fine for the baseboard. It was the frame I was unsure about. Anyway the 30x15 turned out to be 30x13 when I measured it (damn Italians) but I got a rickety frame and one cross member put together this morning. The board is square but not flat and the frame is flat but not square so hopefully by screwing the two together I'll get a flat and square work surface. At least that's the theory isn't it?
