Fingers crossed Brian. It got both grandparents on Mum’s side and so far it also claimed five out of six of their offspring - and we’re keeping a close eye on the six that are still with us. They didn’t have a TV - obviously. :D
Funnily enough Mum was the only one not affected by dementia.

Take a look around Barry, I don’t think Ian is wrong.

All Flying Scotsman trips on the Mid-Hants are sold out - Feb 29th/March 1st and 7th/8th March. There has been mention (BBC Southern News) of the 14th February but there is nothing on the Mid-Hants website.

I believe they wanted £39 per head, with no entry to non-travelling customers. The MHR is not the easiest to view standing in the fields - but I wish them well as they need a good year after the debacle of the bridge closure last year. Bet that cost them a few bob in lost revenue.

Here is my panic to the N.H.S.

I was born with a hole in the heart and was given only a couple of weeks to live. Every time a doctor gets out his/her stethoscope he/she gets a sound of my heart having a heart attack. At one time I was a regular for hospital food.

Then the doctors got used to it and would let things pass.

The older doctors have /or are retiring.
When I see a new doctor at the surgery and I see the stethoscope I know what is coming.

The last time I went to the doctors, I wanted a repeat prescription.
"Oh, Whilst you are here I shall give you a quick examination," said the doctor producing a stethoscope.

I spent four days in hospital.

On the way out they gave me the prescription I originally wanted.

Two more new doctors have joined the surgery!
