Aliborough from a hill
Re: Aliborough from a hill
Very good photos Brian, the grounded coach by the diesel shed is a particularly nice touch.

Thanks Steve. I’ve always gad a grounded coach on my layouts usually home made. This one is Ratio I think.

You are very kind. I had the layout up and running within a few days of erecting the baseboard. Added a few sidings later and I updated the building after a few years. The original ones came from my previous loft layout. It did have a station which morphed into a goods depot in 2018.

Super pictures WTD. Two questions - are they insulfrog points, and if so, do you have any trouble with running quality? It seems that conisirs! (posh people) don't like them.

Re: Aliborough from a hill
Just had a look. All the sidings are insulfrog and a couple on the main lines. I only had a problem with the tiny Peckett 0-4-0 so I added a permanent wagon with pickups. I don’t run my locos very fast.
I only use Peco points.
