We have our telephone and broadband with BT (includes BT Sport) - we have a full TV package with SKY (including multi-room) and both our our mobiles are with Vodafone.
Whilst in the Vodafone shop today, it was suggested we could get the whole lot considerably cheaper. If we were to do this we want (like) it all with one provider. Any suggestions?

I would say that these companies must be good or they would have gone by now. Go for it Barry especially if it saves you money. I keep thinking about it.

Sky and Virgin are really the only options if you want everything with one provider.

The offerings of others package other things with their TV but are using the broadband connection to get things like the catch-up and recording which is often available free on the latest SMART TV''s

My suggestion is that you price up what you want from the likes of TalkTalk, Sky and others and then go to your current supplier and get them to price match. They're always reluctant to let customers go to competitors.

I went with Talk-Talk upon return to UK and a fixed base, but when they tried to flog me internet TV via my own terrestrial ae I told them the broadband would be enough thank you until the fixed price term runs out when I will look again. My TV ae is useless and I thought internet TV was the way to go. They only use internet to monitor what is going on, the actual TV comes into their box from my ae then to the telly. In t.he end I bought a FreeSat box and used that instead of FreeView.

I do get free landline calls to UK numbers though - 1 hour to anyone or 3 hours to other Talk-Talk users. So far only overseas calls have been charged.

Happy with both the claimed speed and connectivity so far (since April) but I will review when the renewal comes up and go for a cheaper option (£25/month at present). The rep did say argue with us at the time and we will usually roll over - probably not the company line but useful info.

Barry, I used to have BT broadband and landline plus Sky for the TV.
Sky tv was ok other than the ever increasing cost but BT broadband was so unreliable and slow I had to change.
Switched the whole lot to Virgin at a significantly lower cost.
Broadband is consistently quick and reliable and the only 'missing' channel on TV was Sky Atlantic.

The only thing to consider is that you must give your existing to supplier notice or they will still expect you to pay your subs.

you gents are lucky to have such choices. Here, its Orange, or SFR. Been with both. Any thunderstorm, the orange box, blows up, unless you are quick, and SFR has regular breakdowns with telephone cables owned by orange, who are not quick to repair their competitors line. Looking at Freesat, but tad lost. Does anyone have Netflix..

I'm not sure how Netflix fits into this, but Amazon Prime UK provide a similar mix of films and now commissioned for Amazon Prime TV type programmes.

Netflix was me as we have offer of £10 month, and i wodered if it was any good.

My son had Netflix when he was here and we can still use it if we want to. Amazon Prime is our favourite and is included with our Prime account for no extra charge. There are many free films plus newer ones for a couple of quid. We only watch the free ones.
