Hi

I'm unable to find any information re an ESU lokPilot basic decoder with the number you've stated.
The ESU lokpilot web page states that there are two available LokPilot basic decoders but are different numbers to what you have given! Here is the web site for the Basic V1.0 http://www.esu.eu/en/products/former-pr ... basic-v10/ If it is one of those shown, then the wiring colours and their positions can be clearly seen from the image at the bottom of the page when its clicked on.

I have the colours and how to connect them, the problem is that its an old decoder and the 4 wires mentioned are detached from the plug and I don't know which wire goes to which terminal, the r wires are still connected but I don't need them.the website mentioned I have been onto but its the right decoder but the wires are not shown as its a plug in harness.its the r/h photo

Is the plug an 8 pin in a 4 x 4 configuration or a 9 pin straight type?

Looks like a mis-typing of the model number.
Should it be 52690 ?

The decoder in the r/h photo is labelled as 21MTC, meaning it's a 21 pin direct fit decoder. There are no wires with this type of connector.
