Rail Magic
If it were the 1st April I would not have been taken in! But... ???? http://www.railmagic.com/?i=1
Re: Rail Magic
Looks legit.
If it's compatible with a variety of DCC control systems and it does a bit more than stop a train at a signal, there could be something in it.
I've signed up, I'll let you know what transpires.

Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.
Re: Rail Magic
Sounds intriguing (well apart from his voice!). Interesting to see if it really does do what he claims and how much it will be. Not cheap I bet.
And the Lord said unto John “Come forth and receive eternal life”, but John came fifth and won a toaster!
Re: Rail Magic
I've just signed up as well.
Will be interesting to see how much it costs and if bit works with an Elite.

Re: Rail Magic
I am sure this is the guy who I stood and listened to about his product at the Warley Show last year !
He sounded quite convincing about the product, but didn't appear to have many takers on the day.
Be interesting to hear the views of those that have signed up.

Re: Rail Magic
My Norton blocked it as dangerous web page. I only saw it this morning 28/3Brian wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:31 am If it were the 1st April I would not have been taken in! But... ???? http://www.railmagic.com/?i=1

Re: Rail Magic
Not happened on my Windows PC or my laptop which I've just this very second checked the link. Both run McAfee! So I got McAfee to run a scan and no issues are being reported.
Are you sure its not because the site isn't SSL secured/locked?

Re: Rail Magic
Yes it happens Brian. One picks things up which others miss. I used ed McAfee for years but Malware bites kept picking thing up which McAfee had missed. That's why I don't use it any more. I am trying full Malwarebytes next it is rated the best at the moment.
But obviously Norton picked up something Mcafee missed. Things like that happen all the time. I would not ignore. I am not entering into a mine is better than yours argument.

Re: Rail Magic
Do whatever you want, but there is no virus or anything else on that particular site. Its because it doesn't have an SSL certificate.
Perhaps my own site in barred too as currently it hasn't an SSL ticket either!
