Bit worried about the signaling arrangements (or lack of) that resulted in the collision! .

Nice bit of filming chops, The writer of the Titfield Thunderbolt Saga T E B Clarke was a neighbor of Dr Richard Beeching. Little did he know at the time of writing what his neighbor was going to do to the railways.
In the film the Driver,Fireman and Guard were employees of British Rail from the Westbury Depot.They all had credits on the film as they were given small speaking parts.
