Hi

Just joined and looking for advice and inspiration!

Had around 60-70 diesel locomotives representing the trains I had seen as a kid and sold nearly all of them last year

However decided to take a more considerate approach to my collection ( yeah still can't get over the fact that the others were sold anyhoo ) and ordered trains based at NYMR so hopefully will get around to building a layout which I never did when owning the diesels.

Welcome - Distraction from the distressing events of the world is an important way of keeping sane! A small shunting layout to distract you may be of interest. Easy to set up and not a lot of space required. Some are made on a window sill or ironing board so no matter the space you have, you can run your locos.

Enjoy your hobby and as already suggested, you'll get lot's of answers and suggestions to queries you make. Photos are always welcome, of old locos or new ones.
