Hello all
I have decided that having two Goods Shed's on the layout was limiting the range of trains I can run. Therefore the Superquick Shed at Little Weldon station will be closing down and will shortly be demolished. To make way for a newly completed Ratio Cattle dock which has been modelled up in a style appropiate to the remainder of the layout. This will then enable me to run trains with Cattle Wagons and or Horse Boxes. The HD Goods shed at Weldon
Freight yard will continue in service.

Nice modelling Doublo. Like the cattle dock. One of the best I have seen lately. I don't remember seeing one in real life.

Hello all
Thank you for your kind words Sandy.
I have been making a Latex mould so that I can cast panels to build up Weldons Goods Yard boundary wall. I made the master out of modified Linka tiles. The two photos show the start of the mould making, and the finished mould with the first casting.

Now that has come together really nicely from the walls you cast - looking forward to seeing the final result - well done.

Hello all
A quick up date on Weldon South Goods Yard wall. All of the casting is now complete and assembly has been carried out so I now have five panels to paint. before the final fixing down.

Hello all
Little Weldon's Good's Yard wall is now complete. I have dry brushed three different brick red colours followed by two really thin washes of dirty black. The lighting in the "Railway Room" has flattened out the detail on the photos. I have included a photo of the next project for the Goods Yard.

Hello all
I have completed the Ancorton Models Yard Crane. This was a beautiful kit to make, I really enjoyed it. All of the parts were nice and cleanly cut out with very little rubbing up needed. The instruction's were well written and clear, every part was named as well as numbered. I used bulk standard PVA as an adhesive applied with a cocktail stick. Acrylic paints and washes for decorations. If anybody wants a Yard Crane thats a little different I thoroughly recommend this range of models. I have no connections with the company other than a satisfied customer.
