Love the salvage yard. Looks like some of the locos have been there for a long time and have almost given up being loved again.

Glad you like it, Bandit Mick. I wanted a scrap yard tat was a little different from the 'norm'. I bought the initial part of it at a model railway exhibition and then added some more to it. The streamliner is a cut down plastic model of 'Mallard' and made into a B17/5. Other bits of scrap locos were added to complete the 'picture'.

Right fine modeling and photography. One of my favorite layouts, this. The rusting Mallard is
heart breaking, the use of S curves and the view block of the trees most effective.

Don't be upset about Mallard. It is okay. I was given another model (a plastic kit one). I converted it to a B17/5 number 62870 City of London purely for the scrap yard.

Seagull! The story goes "See a seagull inland the sea must be 'rough'." I have seen seagulls at one time or another wherever I have lived in the UK.

The one on Marston's roof thinks someone might give him something to eat, but the staff are too busy.
