Micro switches for lift up section

#1

Post by Mr Bones »

I'm looking to fit micro switches to the lift up section so as to isolate the DCC tracks either side. There are some many available so I though I would consult the experts.

Any recommendations for switches and suppliers?

Bitsbox sell them and their prices are good as are their products. Max £1.90 postage. And they are operating as normal during this time, I know as I've had two orders delivered in past fortnight within two days. I would suggest you opt for ones that have a roller on the actuating arm as these allow for a slight lateral movement as the two halves come together.

I have no affiliation with Bitsbox, just a long time satisfied customer

Currently closed until Monday due to reaching their limit on orders! But as stated they offer a good range and prices are keen.
