If I ever get round to breaking up my layout I will have a load to part with too. Many of my locos have not even been run in yet.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

Re: Your latest acquisition
Hi, just bought Limited edition, boxed Stephensons Rocket, , with factory plated tyres, crew in sealed bag, 3 coaches, and smoke. There is one on ebay, for £495. Does anyone know the year of release, etc. It is marked X413. As i bought in france, may be a different number. Yet to arrive. Paid about a third of ebay price, from a guy selling unused collection.

http://www.hornbyguide.com/search_item_results.asp this may help - if it doesn't display the results, then put in Stephenson at the top search box within the page

Re: Your latest acquisition
I too have bought one of the ICI shutters, with 3 of the ICI salt wagons as a bundle offer from Hattons.
One question, does anyone know whether ICI used those open wagons for outgoing loads of salt or for incoming supplies or coal or similar?
If it was for salt, were the loads usually sheeted over to prevent rain damage?
I've not been able to find many photos of the real ones in use.

https://hmrs.org.uk/photographs.html?ra ... ompany=266 maybe this site will help - the photos are black & white but show many variations of ICI salt wagons.
