I think you have the light intensity spot on Barry.

Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Thanks Brian - the coach lighting needs "turning down" - there is no "in between" it's either off or on and when on it's bright. I mentioned it on the Hornby forum - best suggestion (mine) was the use of Tamiya Clear yellow lacquer - as originally recommended by Steve, would give the lighting a sort of 60's glow. The other suggestion was some sort of diffuser fitted over each LED. The other problem, not too evident in these pictures, is the "light-bleed" through the sides of the coaches. Taking the brilliance down a notch or two might cure this? Barry

One of the platforms at Wykeham had not had the 3rd rail fitted - this has been done today. Still needs painting.
The unfinished platform canopy is an old Dapol/Airfix model - so out of scale - has now been "binned".

Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Thanks - a fiddly job. If you file a slight point onto the 3rd rail, the chairs slip on easily. Also the centre of the chair has to be 5.08mm, measured from the inside edge of the rail it is next to - not an easy measurement to make when platforms are already in place. I have run a Hornby 2-BIL over it and it did not foul the pick-up on the bogie. Now for the paint. BB

A moving picture! You even get told "the kettle's on and I'm watering the greenhouse"! Need to get lights in those carriages.

Thanks Brian - it was always going to happen - you start videoing and a shout come "I'm just going to the loo!!" - luckily this was just putting the kettle on and watering in the greenhouse - Pam didn't know what I was doing. Barry

Another lovely picture BB.
As for putting the kettle on? I shall be in a couple of minutes.
